For my final year project, my team collaborated with an organisation called Bao Sheng Fu to document traditional funerary practices. The project focuses on Teochew Lor Kor, a Teochew funeral brass band that performs during funeral send-offs.
In this project, I took on the role of director, overseeing the creative direction and shaping the overall narrative of the documentary. I was responsible for coordinating with the organisation, conducting interviews, and contributing to the research process to ensure cultural accuracy and sensitivity. I was also involved in production and post-production, including filming, assisting with video editing, and refining the final storyline.
Filming took place over several weeks at locations such as temples, cemeteries, and Nirvana memorial parks. Extensive research and consultation were carried out to ensure that the documentary was respectful, insightful, and culturally appropriate.

This was a personal project I did for a Singaporean Youtube channel where I had to create an opening for one of their series. This was edited using Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects
